Inner Peace

This is my entry for Monochrome Madness this week. MMC is hosted by Leanne Cole and Laura Macky. I went back to Oak Ridge Forest Preserve to see how the spring growth had gone since the last time I was there (about 2 weeks). There is very little proof of the controlled burn left to see, and the wild flowers are starting to show up. This park is so peaceful, occasionally I see others here. If you live anywhere near Cherry Valley Illinois, I highly recommend going here. You can find the rest of the Monochrome Madness Challenge on Leanne’s blog, leannecolephotography.com later today.

This is a really nice shot James. The detail of the shot is so painterly and the contrast is well balanced. Very good.
