Black-eyed Susan

Black-eyed SusanIt’s raining here again tonight. 😦 Lucky for me I have been watching the weather forecast. I went out this morning to get in a long needed walk and of course I took my camera along. I didn’t have long because there was a severe storm on its way so I decided to go back the Deer Run Forest Preserve to see how the wildflowers were coming along. The Black-eyed Susan above is just one of the beautiful flowers that I had the pleasure of seeing today.

At the beginning of my walk it was mostly cloudy which lead me to working on macro type flower photographs. Although the sun did come out while I was out allowing me to work on my exposure times. I made good use of my exposure compensation settings today. It’s something that I really have not done a lot of, but I have noticed that there has been a need to use it on some of my old photographs. Later in the week I will show plenty more of the wildflowers from Deer Run. Enjoy! 🙂

  2. I love how it is presented too. Glowing against the soft green.
