Early Freeze

Early FreezeIt has been below freezing for more than a week now. It is safe to say that winter has come early here in the U.S. I like that there are leaves visible through the water here with the ice getting thicker the farther away from the source you get. The cloudy sky actually made this shot a great candidate for black and white. Enjoy!

Beautiful image! I just heard on the news that you are having quite a lot snow in some parts of the U.S., according to the forecast we will be getting it this Saturday in Finland : )

Thank you Nina. Yes parts of the U.S. have gotten a lot of snow, mostly along the southeast side of the Great Lakes. Buffalo New York for example has 48 inches with 36 more predicted over the next couple of days.

  2. I love where you are going with your photography- both literally and figuratively!! 😀
