This photograph of a Canada Goose is my entry for week 51 of Monochrome Madness. In the color copy there is some dramatic natural lighting. It was about an hour before sunset giving a golden cast to the area around the goose. It didn’t quite translate in monochrome as well as I thought it would.
You can find the entire collection for this week’s Monochrome Madness Challenge on Leanne Cole’s Blog later today. Next week is the 52nd week making a full year of wonderful monochrome images. Each participant will be submitting their favorite submission from the previous 51 weeks. I will also have a gallery showing all of my entries from the challenge.
